Max Factor: Masterpiece Max High Volume & Definition Mascara

Max Factor mascara: 3 coats with lash curler

I got this Max Factor mascara in my May GlossyBox and of course I reviewed it for you guys. The way I like to test mascaras is if it gives me long lovely lashes without me using a lash curler as well. I tested this mascara out and I did it first without using a lash curler and I thought "wow this does not do much for my lashes" and then I decided let me try it with the lash curler and honestly I don't like it. It doesn't give me those long lashes that every girl dreams of you know! So for me this is a no no. Its not expensive but don't waste your money on it, totally not worth it.

GlossyBox May 2012

I am very happy with the May GlossyBox I just received. So much good goodies that I have actually already started trying out and a lot of these goodies were also full size products so that's really exciting!

YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara

YSL Shocking mascara on without curling my lashes

Last month I posted about receiving my April GlossyBox and in it I received a sample of the YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara (old post here). I tested it out and I do like it. I didn't use a lash curler because I couldn't find mine and I was too lazy to search through my mess to find it. Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that without using a lash curler, my lashes look pretty damn good with this mascara. I only used one coat because I find that if I put more coats then it starts to look spidery. I am definitely liking this mascara and when my sample finishes I would most likely purchase a full size one, unless I find a better one haha!

My MAC liquid liner is almost coming to the end of its life span and I need a knew one ASAP! I was browsing the Lime Crime website and I saw that they had finally put up swatches for their new liquid liners that will be available on May 23rd! I knew they were making these liners since last year so I was patiently waiting for their debut and I am so excite to try them out. The colors are so bright and vibrant, I love them oh and they are also vegan/cruelty free! Each of these retails for $13.99 or you can also purchase the entire set for $73.99. I really want to get Quill and the Orchidaceous! You can get them on the Lime Crime website.

What do you think of these liquid liners? Will you be getting any of them?

Charlotte Olympia Melody Raffia Platform

Ever since I saw these amazing Charlotte Olympia Melody Raffia Platform Wedge on Leandra from The Man Repeller I almost died! These shoes are just amazeballs! I need them in my life, I just wish they didn't cost €970. Breaks my heart I don't have this kind of money to spend at the moment but it gives me even more motivation to excel in my study so I can hopefully have a well paid job in a few years! Maybe there is hope that they will go on sale and be affordable for me? I will pray to the shoe gods! What do you guys think of the shoe? Anything for you?
